My inspirations :
Passionate about nature, plants, fantasy worlds, the esoteric... my paintings reflect these passions and focus on dreamlike landscapes that are both dark and colourful; more particularly on trees, my favourite subject due to their ever-changing shapes and allures giving them almost a personality of their own. I like to explore the themes of magic and enchantment through my paintings, where witches, nymphs and other fantastic creatures sometimes venture...
Technique:
I appreciate traditional techniques where water is an essential element, such as watercolour and inks. I use acrylic ink a lot, and I like to work with fairly bright, unrealistic colour ranges that give my paintings a fantastic, dreamlike dimension. I also work in digital painting. I can mix digital and traditional media to obtain a result that combines painting and photography.
